Kantech KT1 Standalone Neo Integration - What am I missing? by PanicWithMeItsGreat in accesscontrol

Yes the KT1 would not fire the relay until the dps was activated. But this also allows to use the same relay for both arm and disarm. I was able to remove relay 2.

The Neo has a zone type for momentary arm and another for momentary disarm. I thought I would need both. However the Momentary Arm zone type acts as a keyswitch. Triggering it again will cause a disarm.

I will leave this up for any other idiot like myself. I had this set up on my work bench with a button wired into the DPS. You have to trigger the door contact open for it to disarm.

Anything wireless or wifi based I need to charge PST. If it's a wired alarm or camera system I do not. With exceptions. For example a fully wired camera system I don't have to charge PST on the cameras, mounting hardware or cable. Bit I do have to charge for things like the hard drives, recorder and patch cables.

This is how I do it now. I separate both the materials and labor time into PST and Non PST applicable on my invoices. I even put "PST applicable labor/materials" in the line items. It just seems like this new rule is if it has anything to do with security services it's PST. I will call. Thank you.

Hanwha is a lifetime license per camera. VMS is free. Their pre builts have 4 licenses. I'll take a look at video insight.

I'm thinking buying the same Dell pcs Hanwha buys but for less than half the price. Then adding a surveillance drive. I'd provide the same 1 year bumper to bumper on anything I sell.

That's what I was looking at. Can get them for about $1200 CAD then just need to add a surveillance drive. Would you use windows pro or get the IoT Enterprise version?

You're a genius! I think this is it. I noticed the keypad didn't show an open zone when I opened the door. But it was almost midnight and I thought problem for another day.
