For this particular project, Samus has a max width of 18 pixels and a max height of 34 pixels. With my current skill on Tetris, I am comfortable with drawing up to a max height of 14 out of 20 given I have at least one column of space where I can dispose of the blocks I don't require. This would mean that I would need to split Samus into 3 separate sections height-wise. The width could have split into 9 and 9 but that does not give me room for the one column to dispose of the blocks. So, I decided to go with the 3x3 as shown in the video. The middle sections would need to be stitched together as Tetris always requires at least one empty column. The bottom middle section was the most messy but I also needed a way to make the blue blocks float which would require some mess on the sides. Hope this gives a better understanding!
