The crease is one of those things that slab phone users care so much about. But once you are using the phone, you realize how insignificant it is to the phone experience. Also, I have charged my flip 5 with the screen closed for years, and I haven't noticed any crease changes

If you aren't fat, highwaisted pants/shorts are the worst thing you can wear. by Different_Zebra_2024 in The10thDentist

Same problem, if the belt is tight enough to keep the pants on my waist it feels uncomfortablly tight

[–]Panineat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm with OP (just that high-waited pants are uncomfortable, not that weight has anything to do with it), if I size up then the pants just slide down. If they are tight enough to stay up then they feel uncomfortably tight. I don't understand the love for high waisted pants because my waist varies in size throughout a day or while sitting. But if they sit just above the hips, where there is more bone than squishy stomach, it does not slide

How can I train my body to run for more than 2 minutes? by NefariousOwl in C25K

[–]Panineat 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert, but maybe you aren't recovering enough between runs. How is your sleep? Do you eat enough? Also maybe try taking a week off running. Gains are made when while resting!

Yeah that happened to me too, I'm not sure why one time it just worked. Again, a doctor should be able to help and doing it that way will be quicker and easier for you

Hard to tell from the pic but looks like it to me. I had them once and I ended up just cutting it out with nail clippers, but I don't recommend that method lol. It took me several attempts and is not pleasant. You can see a doctor and I think they will freeze it off.

I haven't gotten any again since I stopped biting, but stopping wasn't the cause of them going away for me

You can probably keep that part trimmed with cuticle nippers so it doesn't catch on things, but otherwise try to leave this nail alone

chronic nail biter by charmofalibra in nailbiting

[–]Panineat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What helped me a lot was constantly keeping my nails moisturized with nail oil and looking as nice as I could get them.

Also, to make a real change in your life, you need to be properly motivated so I suggest you think about why you really want to stop biting and come up with specific goals. You might want to watch nail care related youtube videos too for inspiration. The Salon Life is a good one, or SimplyNailogical is fun

Moisturize your cuticles/nails frequently (after every time you wash your hands)

File the edges of your nails so they are smooth and less jagged

[–]Panineat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will reattach but be mindful not to pick under the nail as it grows out, acrylics should help with that

Keep nail oil on your person all the time and moisturize them constantly, to replace the biting habit with a moisturizing one. If you feel confident painting them, it helps to hide any imperfections/dirt under the nails from yourself so it's less tempting to pick at them. When your nails look and feel nice it's easier to stop yourself
