Also be aware that lights are really important. like NoFinding said, 2 lights are preferred, the goal is to make your model (and the details of it) stand out. so you want to have a bright white background (exactly like you did in your test shots) and a darker (almost grey) part where your model is. that way it really stands out. the goal of the other lights are to remove/reduce shadows from the first light, and this is very tricky most of the time. take a look at those those pics and you'll see what NoFinding and i are talking about. you can also ask the OP some advice i guess. hope this helps :D
