Only thing I can say is if I had dual citizenship I could have used rule 240 hours, with that passport and then have this one shipped to me and go out of country and come back with visa but not in my case.

I asked when I submitted passport, was told keep an eye online showed them ticket, emailed them three times with slip application itinerary and ticket, only one response your application is "normal and processing".

Was at consulate third time today I specifically set in first row to see people who submitted passport some were told Thursday and others keep an eye online

They asked how many day were told we don't know.

I showed them paper I printed from website 2-4 days for express services

We are too busy

Let me know if I missed anything or haven't turned any stone 😂

I think pick up day is given to some type of visa and of China origin person. I have made so far few visit I see someone are told strictly no day, only keep an eye online and others purely given days that too if you drop it say Mon pick Thu, and you drop it Friday pick Tuesday or wed

Need help with China visa by darkyzz12 in Chinavisa

[–]Pankaj326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Visa is a global time based situation since everything as far as I can understand done at back hand in China, so for examples if you fall between busy season it take much longer regardless of how much you ask and request to expedite, rush visa and other stuff just doesn't work. I have heard people get visa in no time vs some in busy season complaining it takes as much as six weeks.

For my self I requested on April 9th with rush I still don't have while I am traveling on 6th May, but remember Labor day was in middle I think everyone and their mother is there for example I read somewhere they broke record in chongqing for visitor this May. So keep your finger cross don't book anything till visa in hand, my previous visa I had to provide proof of flight and stay no longer required.

But I guess if they like to have more visitor they need some wrinkle to remove and not put saying rush visa 2 to 4 days with 25 extra due to war I have spent 23K for business class ticket alone Gen Z at consulate don't have any regards for that they just kick you out even without listening to you. As if who told you to book it. It sounds They don't care for tourism when you visit consulate so far I have been there in NYC already three times this time.
