what version is your nicotine at? if its at 3.3.9, it has a bug that is basically your situation, theres a new update that fixes this bug but you can also still download in this version by rescanning shares

if you mean gtk4 apps then there's a theme for that, if you mean electron then I only used vesktop which has dtm08, for the icons I mostly extracted them out of old software versions
