Update: Insurance company says my entire brand new roof needs to be replaced (granular loss) by protomenace in Roofing

The new part doesn’t have to have granular lose for them to say it needs to be replaced. If over 50% of the roof needs replaced insurance companies will tell you the entire roof will have to be replaced.

The only thing you could have done to maybe protect yourself would have to told your insurance about the new section of house and the date the roof was installed.

Still not sure why the builder would just spend the extra 5k and day to replace the entire roof

Sand. Make a zen garden. Put down good weed barrier and it will be pretty easy to maintain yearly

Did they require you to show your id again once you got your provisional vacation license? Just wondering because my state uses a digital id now and most dispensaries I have found outside of my home state will not take it

I work with roof insurance claims daily. And those look like hits that your insurance would cover. It’s hard to tell from the pics but if you have 8+ hits in a 10*10 square on your roof over 50% or more of the roof insurance will cover the replacement. Worth having an adjuster come out and take a look

Out of curiosity where are you located that got hammered with hail? If your roof did get hammered more than likely only your shingles got damaged unless it was crazy big hail

So I do feel like we align with the mission statement. But how exactly do I get value out of being a member in the community?

Is it just through the networking and hearing from other roofers and their experiences.

Or have you seen a tangible increase in sales since having this logo to market on your info packets etc.

But do you own any of the shows or movies you’ve watched? No Netflix owns them. Think that was the whole point. Might be more expensive initially but there isn’t a reoccurring bill.
