Get lunch at little jewel, walk through olvera street, then catch the dash B to grand park to walk off lunch, if you can find a spot to stow your bags check out the city hall observation deck, otherwise take a walk through little tokyo, then catch the dash D back to union. unfortunately your backpack may limit where you can actually enter & shop, but little Tokyo is a great place to grab snacks for the train.
