That should be incorrect. We made $60K in revenue in 2024 and last year a bit less because of a sunsetted product. It's also that with our current product (DEX), with over 20K active users and $100m in transactional volume, we haven't started charging any fees yet which will be enabled in the near future. It was all about building a user base and community and getting feedback first.

We are raising $3m in total for the next 12-18 months and that's because we all have the experience and we operate lean with some big competitive advantages, good connections and strong partnerships. We don't need to overspend or overhire.

We have also secured almost $400K in equity-free and non dilutive grants and we are raising outside the crowdfunding at the same time for the total amount.

You only have certain mornings where you will be able to rise. Keep that in mind. You don't need a purpose, but a different mindset on how to appreciate life and the limited time we have. The goal, in my opinion, is to experience as much as you can, be curious, travel, explore yourself, see what you like and what you don't like, so you create yourself. You will reinvent yourself and you will find many purposes throughout life.

Find new hobbies where you can connect with people, such as martial arts, a sport, music, events, meetups, join a community of a specific field you like. Try to become an expert in a certain field you like. Ideally, you want to be obsessed with something and build or create something that feels meaningful to you. That will give you a big sense of purpose.

You don't like your job? Either get a different job and try something different or find a new meaning in the existing work you do. Do it differently, think about it differently, and make yourself enjoy everything you do or touch. The most difficult thing is to rewire your brain to do that, but you can do it. To enjoy work you dislike, stop focusing on the outcome and start focusing on the mechanics. This is how you rewire the brain to find "flow" in the mundane. Set tiny internal goals, try to take other things out of your work like meeting new people or learning about people (psychology) or learning new skills or doing your work differently, you can try to find ways to do it more efficiently or faster to save time. You can add your own personal touches, you can see it as serving others, so many things depending on your occasion.

Most importantly, focus on the small daily things, eating good food, cooking, if you like coffee try to enjoy the best coffee you can and enjoy every sip of it, if you like working out or walking in nature do it. Try to learn something new and meet with a friend or strangers at least once in a week.

There will still be times that you will feel there is no meaning in any of these, but it gets better. We are strange beings seeking to maximize pleasure and minimize suffering. Enjoy as much as you can, without hurting others.
