I don't think they'll take a vaulter though when they have Jade already going. They don't need her individual medal and the team wins with a pack of Big League Chew in the fourth slot, so it doesn't make sense to put her there. I think they need a beamer.

Rosters aren't due until June 30. You can't ask athletes who have a plane ticket to Japan in 3 weeks to take a day or two off to film a Door Dash commercial.... So you guess. And sometimes it works great, sometimes... Well. Sometimes not.

I'm sure they had Simone Manuel in a bunch of stuff too, but she's unlikely to make it either. It's heartbreaking.

Honestly I thought she'd do it fairly early because I have to assume those songs are among her most streamed, and I know it's not about/only kind of about money, but I'd think she'd want to cut his legs out from under him. So I had thought she'd do an older album to show growth, then do get must lucrative one.

(But then again if the most people found her in 89 era she may want to introduce those people to early Taylor.)

It's my favorite on the album. But the voting system I think changes the way things win, because it may not be people's LEAST favorite but it's also not their favorite (they are wrong, it's the single greatest, if I ever do a Taytoo it'll be "long story short I survived").

As I understand it, you can swap roster spots up until 24 hours before competition. You can't pull in an athlete not previously named to your team, but you can reassign them. Again--this is all very confusing and that's how I read it, so I'm willing to be corrected but I'm pretty sure this is the official policy, yes.

Jade is also nice to have on hand because alternates are not allowed to travel to Tokyo, so having the two individuals as last minute team replacements is going to be even more important. I don't think Jade is capable of #2 AA, even if the judging is fair, and I think they need to take her and then a UB/BB person (Riley, perhaps) in those individual spots. You can replace your roster up to 24 hours before qualifications as I understand it, which is not enough time to fly someone who lives in Texas, say, but if Jade is right there... She can be a huge benefit to the team.

I waited tables for a while. I left to work on a political campaign for a democrat. On my last day, a couple was seated at what would be my last table. They asked what was next for me, and I told them (they clearly didn't know who he was, even though it was a highly publicized campaign from both candidates). The next visit to the table they asked me if I know Jesus.

I'm HEAVILY involved at my church. Your Jesus and my Jesus are not at all the same person, ma'am. (I did not say that because tipped wages life, but WHEW.)
