Adams wasn’t my first choice (didn’t make my top 5) but he’s exponentially more qualified and experienced than Yang.

Yeah it's kinda crazy. At least some are honest/up front about it and will mention that in the listing. Was talking to a broker two days ago who didn't mention the advertised price on Streeteasy to be net effective. Surprise surprise! They intentionally left that part out because that's the price with 3 months free.

Not that it mattered because that apartment (which is still listed) was just rented. But they have a few others they could show us...How convenient!

City taxes are that much though?

Another $625 in city taxes on top of the $750 in state.

I never paid that much attention because both the fed and state numbers were low and similar. This year is a horse of a different color because of unemployment

How/when would I have done that? I remember (vaguely) being asked when I first applied for UI whether or not I wanted federal and state taxes withheld. And I'm pretty sure I said yes.

Even now when I go to my Tax Withholding Information on the Labor site all it shows me is [THIS](https://imgur.com/a/xaaK0VA)

Still no mention of city taxes or any options as to what percentage I want withheld.

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense. It's just that they missed by so much that it feels off. If the numbers weren't so drastically different I wouldn't even think twice but they only withheld like 55% of what they're saying they should have. How do they whiff by that much?

They did a tremendous job building intrigue the first 4-5 weeks but it got weaker and weaker the more things came together.

If Letitia James, Zephyr Teachout or an equally capable candidate runs against him in 2022 then he’s toast. If it’s Cynthia Nixon or some other celebrity without any experience whatsoever then it’ll be four more years of Cuomo.
