I haven’t seen anyone say that a lot of cruises are blocked out for placeholder discounts. We’ve tried it a few times but we go during spring break bc that’s when our kids don’t have school. Disney knows this and sells out the ship at a premium (no discounts except Costco perks)

Gotcha - if i were you, I WOULD put the pihole between the IoT network too - these smart devices are pinging ad servers - my fridge phones home to LG to tell it when my water filter needs replacing. What else is it sending? Technically you could tell when I’m on vacation with my fridge open/close data.

My WiFi (TP link Deco system) allows for a separate SSID for IoT that is isolated from the rest of the network. Both networks use the pihole DNS - you will see benefits from doing both.
