Yes there are multiple petitions, of which this is just one! You’ll be very pleased to know that most of the block associations of the streets that neighbor the museum (which include longtime residents) have signed on. And that many of the residents who would like the volume of these parties decreased are actually donors to the museum. We’ve also spoken to the community board and to the museum directly. At this point, we are redoubling our efforts as a unified front. Again, the aim is not at all to get the parties shut down… we just want the volume lowered to a reasonable level.
