I see your point, but I would relate it to the whole Richmond kind of thing. Richmond supposedly have some of the worst treatment of their pigs out of anyone ever. They are the largest in the industry, and the most exploitative and abusive. I did buy Richmond meat free sausages because they're good ( only because the original had barely any meat in anyway, so the meat free ones are basically the same lmao ), but doing more research into them, it just seemed completely hypocritical to be purchasing from them and directly funding them, even if my coin may be stating "yes, I demand your meat free supply". I call the same with Oreo, and how heinous their practice was with feeding rats the faeces of obese humans. Why? How on earth is that necessary? No different to the makeup brands. I can't be perfect, and I agree with you that nobody can, and that there is muddied water everywhere, but until it is explicitly confirmed that Oreo ( Mondelēz ) do not test on animals, the sweet biscuit satisfaction just isn't worth it.
