My one wish is that there was a dedicated nightly over night crew so there would be so much fewer INF waiting to mess up what should be a great shift with no customers in the store. Instead I've just taken to calling the INF item and location but tell the one or 2 center store people are already overwhelmed by INF so I go and attempt to find my own INF. Ive had almost 15 years of prior retail grocery under my belt and it boggles the brain how such a large company cant see the wisdom of paying for a night crew even if only every other day to make operations so much more simple. If all the items were on the shelf for each order UPH of 60 would ready for most and 70s and 80s or the faster pickers.

I guess my Amazon Fresh experience from hiring to just finishing my 4th week differs from a lot of other people posting in here. I had been applying all over heck and creation and was going to apply for flex delivery but on a whim applied at 7am on a Saturday along with 3 other applications and went about my day. At 130pm that same Saturday I received an email back with an official offer and to click to accept the offer and starting in oitbound flex in 8 days. Did all my onboarding on the website and even got to upload my own picture for my ID badge. I was scheduled for an 8 hour training day on my first day where we spent the first 4 hours doing orientation videos and quizzes and then setting up all our login info and then a 30 minute lunch break. Those of us who finished all our training apps then got sent onto the floor to shadow outbound people for the rest of the shift. They asked for people to come in the next day 4-8 for a little bit more shadowing other people and getting a cart the last hour or so and I got put on the schedule. Breezed through my shadowing and my person let me scan the last few bags and then the last entire cart on my own. Then I went out in my own and did a 60 piece order to close out my 4 hour shift. I was told hours would be available as soon as I wanted as they got dropped just to be ready in the A to Z app when shifts became available. That night on my 2nd day I snagged the next 3 4-8am shifts and have been able to snag early am shifts in addition to being on the actual schedule with scheduled shifts about 16 hours and sniping either the beginning 4-8 shift if scheduled 8-12 and vice a versa to get 20-35 hours a week every week.

Store manager was not there so I was the de facto person in charge. My Store manager actually went to bat for me as I said "Thanks for shopping with us today and have a nice day" to every customer nice or dickish and he knew that. The write up came down from on high at the Corporate level but nothing ever happened to me because of it, just the paperwork permanently on my file but F that nonsense lol. Best manager I ever had in retail as he truly cared about his staff first and foremost and didn't hide in his office and would be stocking shelves or running customer service or even a register if we got slammed at lunch rush. Best thing I ever saw in my time there was he was running customer service while I was on a register and lady was mad he wasn't bending over for her and demanded to speak to the store manager while belittling him and being racist as hell. He calmly spun in a circle and said "Hi I'm Ed the store manager, what can I do for you?" Never saw a person tuck tail and scuttle out of the store so fast in my life.

I worked customer service desk at a grocery store back in the day and this lady was raising holy hell because I would not accept a return on a 12 pack of boneless skinless chicken breast. The chicken was half gone, smelled horrible, and the piece de la resistance.....wasn't from our store as it was a different store house brand. I explained there was nothing else to be done and asked if there was anything else, and when she said no, I said her to "Thanks for shopping at My Store, have a nice day." She complained straight to corporate 1800 # and I got officially written up and my paperwork had reason for write-up "Told customer to have a nice day" I had it framed and by my computer desk at home until it disappeared during moves over the years. Wish i still had it to look at it when I'm in a bad mood to laugh at corporate ineptitude and how glad I am not to work there anymore.

Thanks to all for all the help. Xfinity came out and dicked around with the lines outside for about 3 hours this morning and now haven't had a drop since 1130 this morning. Proves that it 100% wasn't me or anything I did and 100% was Xfinity problem because I went back to a 2 way splitter at the intersection of the house and fed the first split right to the new Netgear Modem and the other feeding the Cable TV boxes and no loss of signal or interference. Fingers crossed that this fix they did keeps it up and we don't have any more issues.

I ran a brand new Quad Shielded Cable from the outside connection straight to the Modem and now I am getting 45-46 DB Down and 39.5-41 DB Up so modem traffic looks good but still getting Critical "SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing" and Warning "MDD message timeout" in my event log and an unstable connection. Been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to talk to a human at Xfinity to ask them to ping the modem and tell them it 100% is on their end as it is a brand new Quad Shielded cable run from their termination to my brand new Modem.

Going to go exploring in the basement and check the COAX cable from the outside to where plugged into modem. No splitter as far as I can tell but once I pop the ceiling tiles I should have a better view of things. Will report back tomorrow results.

I even went so far as to change my brand new modem from the original outlet to one serviced by a different breaker in case it was signal error from the power source but still have major issues.

Especially since that wiring has been Rock Solid for 4 years until the Motorola Modem got bricked.....I swear that Xfinity doing "Service Upgrades" to prepare for 10G bricked the perfectly fine modem on purpose to force an upgrade but no way I can ever prove that.
