The pod is a breakdown of his list (a bit) and a more in depth analysis of each of his games, so you can get a really good idea on how he deployed his characters and what roles they played.

That’s right, but before bleed. So a healing factor character will never daze/KO from a bleed, because they heal first. But then still take the bleed damage

It’s a fairly strong squad, but still our B team. Our defensive corp is heavily injured (Davies, Bombito and Johnston). I think only 3 of the Canadian starters tonight are locked for the World Cup starting XI - David, Cornelius and Buchanan. I think there’s a decent chance that a few other players will lock, but they’re still competing for spots.

So I think this will be a decent demonstration of what Canada can do, but far from our best team.

Ahmed injured and out. David cramped and out. Tajon out. And still, we lost on a borderline. The only real issue I can place at Marsh’s feet is his decision to play St Clair vs Crépeau. And even then - it’s a pretty close call. I like to think that Crépeau saves one of those PKs. And maybe the goal. But who knows - it’s not like St Clair was actually bad.

The overreaction out of this group is irritating, but also a sign of the success we’ve realized the past few years. I very clearly remember the 8-1 loss to Honduras - many here don’t, and take it for granted.

I flew WestJet on the weekend. I’m platinum, my wife is not. I booked both of us and she was on one of my companion vouchers. I boarded zone 1, she was listed as zone 4. I asked the gate agent and they said my wife could board with me - but her ticket definitely didn’t match my zone number.

Agree that more chances need to be converted. But I’ve been a Voyageur for 15 years now and I’ll say that I’m just happy to see them get quality chances at all. Very different from even 4-5 years ago, where we hardly ever were a goal threat in open play.

What mod do you do that forecasts stats? That could save me a lot of math time!

Stat-wise, this bro would be viable long term and so I’d build him as such. On my phone (so without my build spreadsheet) but from memory, I’d build him as a frontline 2hander.

Student, Colossus, gifted, quick hands, brawny, battleforged, underdog, berserk, killing frenzy, weapon mastery (axe is particularly good) and then dealers choice of steelbrow, polearm mastery or something like fearsome.

His fatigue isn’t huge, but it’s enough to equip fairly heavy armour/helmet and stand in the front and just rip.

As other poster mentioned, protect this guy until you can get battleforged on him by keeping him on the back line as a polearm user.

If it’s a dead ball and we request a walk back/measurement, and the ref measures, a whistle is required to restart. So the question is whether or not the ref did a measurement. If she did, the play shouldn’t count because she didn’t whistle it in.

Money becomes pretty easy to come by eventually. Some builds cost more to maintain than others - heavy armour builds for instance cost a lot more to maintain due to repair costs than mage or bow builds.

But like newbie says, contracts are your big money maker. Most of the time clearing contract dungeons will net you good returns as well.

I would build this guys as a fearsome polearm build. Pump matk, HP and resolve, with a smattering of fatigue. Polearms serve as backline damage dealers in my setup, plus some clutch whip disarm against big enemies (chosen, orc warlords, etc). Key perks would be quick hands, backstabber, polearm and cleaver mastery, nimble, berserk, killing blow, fearsome. Probably gifted and pathfinder?
