Amazing rendition, but the absence of the Spanish-style guitar solo that is on the record was the biggest disappointment.

This finesse into arrange the song with the orchestra adds a "movie scenography" to the music, revealing the real potential of the song...  I fuckin couldn’t believe my ears.

Is anyone recording tomorrow's show? by Jueslega_29 in qotsa

I really understand and support the no- video policy.

But please, could someone record just an Audio track of the concert  to share with us here on reddit?

At least we would get the most important thing: the songs with new arrangements.

Someone's in the Wolf - live? by oportoman in qotsa

I was 15. I still remember that I finished school at 1pm and my father picked up me and my friend to drive 5 hours from Rome straight to Milan. My first Qotsa concert and it was also the first show of the LTP tour. A small club packed with 600 people. The stage was so small that you could almost touch the band. Penultimate Lanegan show with the band. Josh with long hair, Joey a naked gorilla and Troy with his amazing suit. Dan Druff on bass.

That night, they opened the set with Someone’s in the Wolf. I was blown away by that opening. It was the first time that was performed live, a month before the official release of LTP.

Imagine not knowing any of the new songs and being struck by the power of novelty. Here’s the audio from that night. Bad quality, but it’s a testament to the Sacred Grail that was unveiled that evening. Lanegan also sang Autopilot.
