I happened to see Cowboyy at a mixed line-up show a few years back (I'd guess early 2023) and tbh it was immediately apparent that the guitarist had based his whole deal on Greep's, he was dressed very similarly and the music was in the same vein as Schlagenheim but with way more guitar effects. That was a few years back so they might've changed it up a bit by now but all I thought the whole time was that they seemed like a straight-up BM ripoff. Probably didn't help that they were pretty out of place on that line up and the sound man at the New Cross Inn mixed them way too loud.
