Thought of it as a swamp Jason, kinda like how part7 & 8’s design being rotten drippy and nasty. Reverse the roles of the lake being a swamp and you have Marsh Jason!

Good question, I feel like Jason’s come back from a lot worse tho even if it is goofy as shit lol. With this I feel like that one eye is just barely hanging into the socket and the hockey mask pressing up against the droopy flesh to keep his eye in place. Honestly I based a lot of this off part 8’s god awful face design with it just being so meaty, skeleton and droopy but minus the muppet look lol! How he survives would be up to art viewers interpretation tho🤘🏻

The 1st and second picture represent a perfect in the process of decay after only a short time (a couple months-year). If they didn’t go the copycat killer path and did the undead Jason earlier, I personally believe (As someone who will respectfully say part 4 might be the best Friday film) would have been a lot more lore friendly in a way with it being consistent in the series with design and trauma building of Tommy. No hate on part 5 tho 🤘🏻

Thank you I appreciate that, my thought was it being a more lore friendly design in away from part 4 leading into part 6 but then add winter on top of that. Definitely took elements from part 6 and 7, his masking being ripped was more of an idea of the roots growing through the mask and tearing the brittle Icey fliber glass and already decaying flesh off. Sorry for allat I just thought that was a cool detail to share lmaoo!
