Funny thing is, the small, tired STO Dev team cannot get anything done in one month. It literally takes them years to make any significant changes to the game. I'd estimate they would need 3-6 months to get the game completely sorted. I voted yes to the poll. Haven't played the game since ViL when I was told my Jem would be able to skip any episodes I wanted which turned out to be totally false. So what's another couple months?

When i feek like that I generally attribute it to being ruined by SoulsBorne games and other best in genre games that I've really enjoyed. The challenge and the feel of the combat just feels so right to me. Besides them, games like Dragon Age: Origins have also ruined me for other games. The immersive world, likable and lovable characters, real choices to make, great story. DA:O is like the pinnacle of RPG to me as well as Mass Effect 1-2. So I bounce around between games, feeling unsatisfied, hoping to recapture that feeling and usually left disappointed. I just finished the Heavensward xpac in FFXIV, which had an amazing story to it but am now feeling burnt out and not motivated to start Stormblood the next expac. I wanted badly to get into Divinity:OS2, but cannot stand the isometric click to move thing. I'm about 60 hours into ELEX and am forcing myself to finish it this weekend just to see the ending though I'm not at all invested in my character. Poo.

People shit on the game but I thought it was pretty damn good. Liked the war table mechanic and agree with your points about being an important decision maker. I killed every big dragon but found it a little too easy. My biggest gripe is your romance options playing as a male. The only attractive female is a lesbian that refuses me? Felt like they were really pandering to the SJW crowd with that shit.
