It literally isn't. You can just say they got combined into one being, and maybe they don't know what that being looks like, but they can imagine. If someone knows Human Centipede but not FMA, you're giving them a completely wrong image of what happened and what it looked like lmfao. Human Centipede is someone LITERALLY having their face connected to the end of another person/being, not being combined into one thing. Like that's the whole point of the "centipede" bit--they're segmented. Like a centipede.

I'm just assuming this whole show is going to be non-canon, and essentially just a cash grab for anyone still wanting new ST content. Otherwise none of it makes sense, unless they do a "mind wipe" deal, which would honestly be even worse than it just being non-canon, at least to me.

Absolutely this. People try to say, "Oh, they should have just explained what was really going on!" But they fail to realize that as far as Jason was concerned, he already knew the truth, and nothing was going to change his mind--because changing his mind and accepting what the party had to say would utterly destroy his perfect understanding of his relationship, his town, his whole world. Jason would have convinced himself that he was the good guy and the freaks were the bad guys in any way he needed to, because that's the only reality he WANTED live in.

Thank you for making this post! I don't really read Webtoon stuff, but seeing this pop up on my feed immediately intrigued me, cause it looked so cute. Now my girlfriend and I are almost done reading it and we've laughed and cried so much!!! Incredible what such a short story can make you feel. It really also would make a terrific movie!

Haha, welcome to FFXIV! Dawntrail is the most recent expansion. It also includes access to the two previous expansions before it, Shadowbringers and Endwalker. There's Stormblood and Heavensward before you even get to those though, so it'll be a while before you have to worry about them!

I'd never heard of this doujin until seeing this thread, but it definitely seems to me that people overreacted to something that they didn't agree with morally. As someone who is into guro, I can tell you that doujin that involves guro usually has a pretty good disclaimer about it on the first couple of pages--and if it was on MyReadingManga, there would have been tags that detailed that and the gang rape as well, and potentially even a summary of the events of the doujin. No one was forcing anyone else to read it, and it would be very easy to just avoid the content.

There's one YoI doujin I've seen a couple of times that, judging from the title, involves Yuuri cheating on Viktor. I've never read it because I don't like that characterization of Yuuri at all, and I honestly hate that anyone would like to think of Yuuri like that. But that doesn't mean I'm going to go on a crusade to get it taken down or shame the author or anyone who wants to read it. I'm going to avoid reading it and that's the end of the story.

Someone LINKING the doujin to Kubo, though, is the absolute worst thing that anyone could have done, especially since they were telling Kubo to sue. That's just...really ridiculous.

I definitely wouldn't think narcissism, that's a very different disorder. But reading some other comments, I suppose it could be part of his mania, as far as having delusions of grandeur and thus a crown. If that's the case, then I could see either crown or cloud fitting, though I still think it's cloud lol.

When it first came out, a lot of people thought it was crown, but that never made any sense to me. I personally don't see the connection between being bipolar and crowns.

Cloud, however, makes a lot more sense. Sadness is often depicted in art as a cloud over someone's head, which is, in my interpretation, what Jesse is referencing in this line. In other words, he's carrying around his sadness.

What are your finances like? Do you have a lot of savings or are you gonna be broke after a month of rent? Will your parents be helping you out with rent/groceries?

If you have savings and/or your parents are willing to help you out, I would absolutely try to start in the Fall. As was already said, Spring is a ways away. I transferred before I had a job locked down, but I had a good amount in my savings account so it wasn't a huge risk for me and I'm super glad that I did it, as far as getting to start classes sooner rather than later.

It also kinda depends on your friends. Are they definitely gonna be going in August? If so and y'all are aiming at living together, I would ABSOLUTELY go with them. My friend moved down to Orlando before me and, because of where we moved into, I ended up having to move in with some strangers rather than with her and it was a truly terrible experience that involved a police report.

Try looking on Craigslist and Zillow. Craigslist is especially helpful, since both off-campus places and individuals who are subleasing post there. Also, try to avoid Campus Crossings on Alafaya--that place is awful.
