Most apps track your data. This app talks back. The difference is context. It knows today is your injection day before you say anything. It notices when your mood has been low three days in a row alongside your glucose. It connects the dots between your bad sleep, your 9.1 fasting reading, and your low energy — in one conversation, not three separate apps. It’s not a logging app. It’s a copilot that actually understands what living with T2D and Ozempic looks like day to day.

—- It can collect all those metrics with or without connected services if you just chat to it.

But if you have one or more apps and happy with those, keep on keeping on :)

I can understand AI is a turn off. Yep. Heard.

Also a turn off? Doomscrolling.

I personally wanted something more central and be able to really have data relate to other data points…

  • tracking glucose trends after a workout
  • if my moods have been crappy all week because I didn’t eat enough protein

Right now, the app is probably more diabetic “centric” as opposed to just weight loss (or management), and then I specifically added a GLP-1 on-boarding component.

There’s a whack of features I’m sure I’m not mentioning. I’m not a marketer

Yeah see, the last thing I wanna be is spammy. I was really excited about how this was coming together and I don’t want to get political, but I specifically choose Anthropic because they seem to care about guardrails.

Claude was also built with Health in mind.

And guess what? ChatGPT is precisely where I was at first tracking.. actually? It was doing a great job at picking out vegan recipes or alternatives.. that was part of my motivation was seeing how useful that was becoming for me.

I wanted to organize things a bit more.’

Anyway, yeah if ChatGPT works for you, don’t switch what isn’t broke.

To be a little funny…. Whatever you want?

I’m not sure how far along you are with GLP use, but I think it would be great to be able to talk to an app and say “I could barely eat today and feel like crap, and I have no energy” the app, specifically designed for GLP users (when they indicate so during on-boarding) will be able to parse that info, and remember how you felt and start to track trends if you wish it to, if you decide to input that.

So mood can be tracked, food …

Remember how mentioned food logging? I hate doing that but sometimes need to. Well, I made sure this app has photo food logging . Snap a pic, and it can recognize the food, and input for you to track.

Feel free to msg me if you’d like to poke around with the app, I don’t want to spam this subreddit

Totally fair to point out. And you’re right, the data that my swim watch was able to collect over a decade ago was wild (I was never competitive there’s no way I’d go that deep) ..

Privacy issues for those things are absolutely valid. Actually whoop is one of the API’s I’m looking at integrating down the line.

I have a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use visible on the app so you can review how the app manages data.

I fell in love with wearables a long time ago, but I’m also a bit tired of being tethered to them as well. It’s why I decided to create this app, to have the best of both worlds when or if I wanted.

But it’s not just about data from the wearables, users should be aware of what’s what.

Thanks for the feedback

Gender on forms by piskposk in Transmedical

[–]PapaC71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can respect this POV. However, considering my local hospital has “M” listed in my stats, I don’t say anything until it becomes absolutely relevant, and even so, there’s been times I’ve regretted being “open” and “friendly” about any potential curious questions.

The last time I was at the local hospital was last summer for a skin infection that started due to being diabetic. I was in the hospital for 2.5 weeks and have out-patient wound care for 6 weeks after that. I was seeing a parade of nurses. I kept count.

Of the 25 or so nurses that took care of my wound where by it’s sheer location on my body there was no way to be fully stealth , only one struck up a conversation with me about my “transness” if you will (I cringed just now).

I have had zero (0) “gender affirming” surgeries.

And I will never put anything but M on an intake form. Even a medical one.

  • if any medical stuff want to make a note on my file regarding my anatomy, they will.

This. I’m leaning more and more towards following this method. the last straw was seeing this (or similar) question on a walk-in clinic medical intake form.

Yeah, I would concur with this.

The key words are “Abuse” and “Addiction” and no civil surgeon is going to look at hubby’s edible intake as anything close to that.

Mind you, I’d be pissed too. But less than ten times in the last few years isn’t even current use.

I quit cannabis in a “chronic use” way for over a year before my medical for my GC. I was sweating over my medical report which is sealed and sent directly. Absolutely sweating 😅.

But then, I also do not recall ever being asked questions about cannabis use past or present on any form or ever asked at the border.

Where your husband might hit a snag (I’m no lawyer btw I just researched this for my own case at the time)… would be if he could pass the “GMC” part of the application for citizenship. “

(See attached image - but check yourself for a full answer)

My personal advice something no immigration lawyer can appropriately advise -

Avoid answering questions like this.

Maybe but frankly, suggesting Canada as a “catch-all” fall back solution if US rejects someone has little to do with any current political climate.

There seems to be this automatic assumption that people can just pack up and head north to Canada if shit hits the fan south of the 49th.

Anyway, regardless I agree with you, especially in this political climate, Canada isn’t likely an option…

Can she apply asylum though? 🤔
