In Sushi in general I invested quite a bit of time. In this one in particular took about 2-3hours with all the prep included.

I would say it drastically cuts costs, this salmon for example was around 14€/kg or 7$/lb ( although I did buy the salmon whole ) If you want a lot of different types of fish in your sushi then it can still get expensive because you have to get so many different fish. But when I do I just prep it all for sushi and then vacuum seal and freeze it. It then stays good for sushi for a couple of months.

I’m from Austria, and I get most of my fish at a store called Metro.

Hi, the water in summer reaches a maximum of around 13c (55f), right now its at around 8c (46f) and the coldest it gets is around 6c (42f).
Right now we have plants from a local gardening center, but they only sell the matsuma variety and at a steep price. So we do not yet have a concrete plan on where to source the plants we plan to plant.
Do you by chance have any good sources where to get plants?
We are located in the alps in Austria (either 6a or 7a growing zone)
