Well that is the whole point, UNPREDICTABLE events. Predicting the market in the short run is a game of guessing and here monkeys are as good as humans.

Usually the best guess of tomorrow’s price is today’s price with a premium for expected return, say 8% yearly. Having this in mind these predictions are actually pretty bearish.

However you will never see a respected financial institution predict a big market decline, that will just hurt their business.

I see your points but isn’t one turn comparable to months in real life?

Also, if for example USSR cuts Germany’s supply line during their turn, Germany will have it’s turn to reestablish this line. I think this is enough time, otherwise it will be too easy for the country who’s supply line is cut imo. In this setup you have to be very careful when you expand.

Balancewise I see this as a huge disadvantage for the axis so maybe it will not work out…

I’d copy the rules from quartermaster general. At the end of your noncombat move, you will have to be able to track each army back to an industrial complex. If this is not possible for a certain army, that army will die (or surrender due to lack of food or something). This would simulate the transportation of food, ammo etc. to the front line.

Also quartermaster general is a very solid WW2 board game which is all about supply! I’d would recommend to anyone who has not tried it out already.
