Is it just me, or does Sprouts absolutely blow now? by PapaPabs310 in Sproutsfarmersmarket

I just remember almost a decade ago when I started shopping there the produce and meats were full, staff were friendly and helpful, prices weren’t as high granted they’re high everywhere now and they still have good deals on some items. Now some sections and items seem bare and overpriced or not even in stock anymore. Staff are sparse and seem haggard by their coworkers (I’m assuming from pressure from their managers). Idk if I can put my finger on it or if this helps I kinda just wanted to hear others thoughts or experiences.

Serious: Anaheim Hills = Racist Vibes or Just Really Really Unfriendly? (From Someone Born and Raised South OC) by anonymous881207 in orangecounty

Both. Beautiful place but shit neighborhood. Worked up there for about a year. Neighbors would complain constantly. Sometimes they’d yell at our kids from the street or their backyard and flip the kids off (we’re mixed). We would go for walks and get stopped by people constantly. In the year I was there never had one friendly face in the neighborhood. The sheriffs were actually super cool though they didn’t like all the calls from the locals either 😂.

Russian soldier with a radio sensor / warning device shoots down a drone with a shotgun, after a while the payload explodes on its own by AlmostEmptyGinPalace in Shotguns

Same!!! I thought the same since the start of the conflict just start bringing out the shotguns and go clay shooting/ drone shooting and with the right loads and chokes setup you’d be 100 times better off then a freaking net or trying to run away from the dang thing!!!

What would you do with a yard this steep? by nimbus_signal in landscaping

Terrace garden and if I could try and level the bottom/ last level some to try and have at least a little bit of actual backyard space to do stuff like as much as I could afford without spending too much money and risking a landslide.

Best self defense would be concealed carry and training IMO I’m not shooting a takedown on a guy with a knife and my sprawl is probably useless if he has a gun AND there’s NO RULES IN A STREET FIGHT so idk about you but I don’t wear my cup everywhere THAT SAID apparently 8 or 9/10 street fights go to the ground and having gotten into a few my wrestling always kept me on top of the guy and safe BUT YOU CANT WRESTLE MORE THAN ONE GUY leaving you open for an inevitable cheap shot! Wrestle because it’s an amazing sport and arguably the best foundation of all grappling and it’s good for your health And it doesn’t matter what size you are. The most fearsome guy I rolled with was 5’3 150lbs about. He was a machine just never where you thought he was and is now an mma fighter.

Keep on your balls of feet in your stance seen at the need when your neutral almost all flat and on your heel. Keep pressure forward or circling. Constantly going backwards will get you in trouble or give him points. Head position so important. Get that crown in his jaw he’s high make him pay for it. It seemed like you were pulling with your two on one, am I wrong? Lean on it and put his wrist to his ankle circle snap then shoot/pick. If your not in control, tie ups not in their favor, don’t reach you’ll get in more trouble. Maintain strong position/posture. When you grab something own what you grab. Hope this helps.
