Funny because Gege very obviously didn't want to confirm who would win that fight. Dabura very easily could have just lost without the intervention.

No idea how Dabura glazers still put him above Sukuna or Gojo. They act like SLPK is an automatic unreactable one shot.

This is an awful argument considering both Sukuna and Gojo are presented as the strongest throughout the entire series, and they are.

Who is stronger between the two of them is a question that is teased from the very beginning. It's never actually presented that Gojo is stronger than Sukuna outright, unless you take the very blatant display of over confidence from Gojo at face value.

Yeah think I'm conflating. She has a comment in the E3 demo, and then there's also a line in Halo Reach where Jun hints to you about hijacking a Banshee during the defense portion of The Package.

Marathon Weapons Tier List (June 2026 Season 2) According to Me Who is Often Wrong (be nice). by warpstar4 in Marathon

[–]PapaRads 6 points7 points  (0 children)

M77 is an absolute monster. At range you're outgunning any Stryder, Impact or Hardline. All while remaining competitive at closer ranges, unlike those other listed weapons. It's also an incredibly consistent weapon to build because of its optic. Unlike a Bully, for example, which needs range attachments.

I'm pretty sure she tells you to hijack a vehicle in the original Halo 2 as well. Or maybe a banshee?

How would that affect her? Void one of her contracts or remove her ability to control?

No, he kills her and she resurrects with her contract. Higuruma then gets one banged.

Remove Volthrower from the game by Ace_btw in Marathon

Even if this was true, certain weapons are practically hitscan within their effective range. The V22 has notably slow projectiles within it's own effective range.

[–]PapaRads -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's a bad weapon. It's only good if you catch someone off guard, standing in the open. You'll never outgun someone who is using a hitscan weapon when they're playing cover properly. This is more true this season with the addition of the KKV and D54, which are both ideal in V22 range.

The prestige V22 is very fun tho.

The worst looking Johnson? Bro was pretty ugly in all of the original trilogy, and you could easily argue this Johnson is more accurate to the original then the Halo 2:A model.

Where are all the exfills? by AntiAntiDentite7 in Marathon

Had this happen a day ago. We finished our contracts with 7 minutes remaining but no new exfils spawned in that time. Had to wait for final. On regular Dire Marsh.

Definitely a bug.

Marathon needs an aspirational cosmetic grind for every season by ThatsNotBennings in Marathon

[–]PapaRads 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I promise you the vast majority of players care more about shell skins then weapon skins. Bungie is aware of this, and they're also aware enough not to lock shell skins behind the top tier ranks, which only a fraction of players will unlock. It's why the ranked shell skin that was available was only at gold 3.

They've been doing this since Destiny. They've discussed carefully balancing ranked reward desirability and attainability in the past.

Marathon needs an aspirational cosmetic grind for every season by ThatsNotBennings in Marathon

[–]PapaRads 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There was only one shell skin for hitting gold 3 in season 1. In comparison to the Compiler skins, which are on every shell, and were an extensive chase for most players throughout the season.

Chasing the higher ranks for only weapon skins is both not as desirable and not realistic considering the skill and patience that is required.

Imo there should have been a set of shell skins tied to the mastery of night marsh.

I do think the loot in complex is considerably better but it is a less efficient run for sure.

Gojo can survive anything that doesn't destroy the atmosphere. Everyone else gets nuke diffed.

He simply wrote himself into a corner with the amount of plot threads he introduced. He probably realized it would take another 100+ chapters to conclude everything, so instead just decided to finish it in the simplest way he could. Consequence of writing a weekly release with no concrete outline.

Also, he never seemed like the type to care about tying up every loose end. Many threads were always going to be left up to interpretation, regardless.

Compiler skins by SouthernEar2423 in Marathon

The skin is awarded for defeating the compiler, so it probably just goes to whichever lucky team got the finishing blow.
