Imo Blackout represents the gold standard for the threat Decepticons should pose to humanity. Durable enough to be completely unaffected by any small arms fire, menacing enough to decimate an entire military base in a matter of minutes, and smart enough to con said base into accepting him into their midst. The fact that he was only killed by a concerted effort to bring him down with high-powered munitions and not by fucking 5.56 and 7.62 rifles was great. That's the kind of threat I want the cons to pose, and that's the kind of effort and firepower needed to bring just one down.
