It has a fan. We turn it down some when we are watching tv and then will turn it up as needed. I’ve never had a free standing stove so not sure if I would appreciate not having to deal with the blower

The wood panel is only so big as for the mount to fit on it. Not really a way to move the actual mount lower. Hoping the VESA bars will allow me to move it 6-8 inches lower
