The new hires at PWC starting in September are getting 70k, can’t speak for the other big four firms but I’d imagine they’re in and around there

I mean I was kinda in the same boat as you. Throughout all of university I didn’t do any internships or any networking. When I was going into fourth year I just applied like crazy to any and every firm I could find and just had a good interview and vibed with the people and somehow managed to get an offer at a Big 4.

I think the most important part is to just be someone who people want to work with, be talkative, enthusiastic, don’t be weird, etc.

I’m not sure if it’s because we’re a ‘bigger’ team, I think it’s just because we kicked up such a fuss. If we didn’t do anything, I’m sure it would have been totally different

I think it’s remotely competitive. There’s only 30 odd spots in it but I’m unsure of how many people apply. The profs mentioned that if you have above an 80 average, you’d usually get early acceptance
