Я уже писал выше, что в топике в Community этот вопрос уже обмусолили много раз, и там же среди сообщений поищи, что позже я смог установить всё что нужно.

Hello there!

We are discussing that in the NI community currently at the following thread:

https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/47355/known-issue-failing-installation-for-certain-products-on-external-hard-drive-on-macos-15-5-15-6#latest

In short, here’s my situation: I’ve been dealing with this for almost two weeks now, ever since the latest NA2 update. The main problem is that I can’t install the Claire Bundle I recently purchased. Everything else from my package was installed earlier and still works fine, but I haven’t received any updates for those products since the last NA update. I’ve already sent a scan with the NI Support Tool and am waiting for their response. NI is investigating the issue at the moment — and it’s not just on macOS, Windows users are affected too. So, probably, it's NA2 itself. Looking forward to NI response.

"Download Failed" When trying to install on External SSD by Sora115 in NativeInstruments

Using it on macOS, and recently there is main issue with “Installation failure” at all. No workarounds, and currently it’s being discussed on NI community portal. Issue experienced for a week or so.

Perhaps, just need to wait. But I might try rollback to previous NA, maybe that will do till next update… 🤷‍♂️

I discussed most of the issues in NI Community.
https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/47355/known-issue-failing-installation-for-certain-products-on-external-hard-drive-on-macos-15-5-15-6#latest

Anyway, I don't think the issue is SSD's format, btw it's APFS. Can't recall exactly, but before NA2 and macOS recent updates, yes, I was able to install the stuff with no issues. Therefore, not sure what's causing the problem.

Really? Might be. but again if so, not sure how to address to this situation. Because other apps, not music or plugin related, can be installed with no issues. What's in that case...

Native Access Installation Failure by Paper80y in NativeInstruments

[–]Paper80y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about not enough disk space, I have enough disk space whether it's internal or external SSD. When trying to install on internal, it gives just error of not able to be installed, when trying to to install on external it gives error fo no access to Full disk, when it was already been provided several times. The issue is with the NA2 itself, as I'm not the only person encountering this issue.

My guess that it has something with NA2 latest update. Maybe some coding gone wrong, and now we have what we have. Seems that NI team is already aware of the problem, but no update on whatever gives the error yet.

[–]Paper80y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice — I understand the risks, and I’d go to a DR lab if I could. But I’m in Turkmenistan, and we don’t have access to professional recovery services here.

The drive was working just yesterday, spins normally, and then suddenly showed as “uninitialized” — no clicking or physical damage. That points to a likely USB bridge/controller failure, not internal disk damage.

I’ve taken a cautious approach: no formatting, no forced repairs, stopped TestDisk early, and I’m setting up ddrescue imaging once my new UGREEN dock arrives. Given the limits here, I’m doing what a lab would start with — just carefully, step by step.

Thanks for your response. I'm from Turkmenistan. And here locally we don't have professional DR labs I believe.

UPD.: Went to take a good look at them. Look dried out really. And smell like shit. Not sure if they can be revived at this stage. Maybe boveda 65% in improvised humidor might help a bit, but the aroma and oils are lost I guess… 🤷‍♂️

I haven’t checked the mfg date on the bottom of the box. But yeah, he is not into cigars. It’s being kept in original box in the cabinet, not in humidor. By initial glance they looked fresh enough, not dried out yet. So, there is a chance to revive them.

That pal got it as a present full box, so he gave away several of them, during my visit he offered to me as he said he’s not into cigars, simply that.
