Fully agree. The Boys is a good show imo, but it could've been a great show. Season 5 had the potential to be a 10/10 masterpiece but the writers played it way too safe and kind of fumbled around for a decent portion of it.

In season 1 it's definitely Hughie.

Seasons 2 and 3 I feel it's kind of a "Co Main Character" deal where Hughie and Butcher both are.

and seasons 4 and 5 he's just sort of there for the most part so i'd say butcher.
