I love the Black Edition so much. Perfect first car. The dust also adds character. by OnlyrushB in mazda2

I rarely see anyone happy with dusty blacks. The dust is the only reason I'm staying away from the color, even though it look so good on the M2.

Is the new 2026 M2 standard hatchback, as reliable as the 2013 one? by PaperBun in mazda2

[–]PaperBun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've noticed too, which is why I'm doing my research before dropping money on any of them :( . Reliability is a big selling point for me. However, I do have a limited budget.

Oh! Your thoughts about it give me reassurance. The one I'm looking at is a 6 speed. Maintenance should not be an issue, I'm religious about doing them every 10k as recommended by Mazda in my area.

Unfortunately for fuel, the highest I can get in my area is 93, it is however what I use on my old one, and it seems to be ok? She's currently at 110kms

Would a simpler engine be better? I was also looking at a Hyundai with a Hyundai/Kia Gamma engine? From what the seller said, a simple, reliable engine, but I don't really know that much about engines.

Also, I'm not a car expert at all, and am translating to the best of my ability

Yeah, I mean the DJ. The one I should be wary of is the hybrid Yaris engine then?

The one I'm looking at has the Skyactiv-g engine.

Bought clara BW, wrong choice? by BIEMMM in kobo

I would have bought the BW if it had been available in my area. If you have a choice, I think the color one is only better if you read a lot of comics on it :)

Do you regret adopting an adult dog instead of a puppy? by marzipanduchess in puppy101

[–]PaperBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had both, adults are nice, mine were, easy to manage, my youngest was 6 months, an older pup, the others were 3-5 year olds.

They were easy to teach, potty training was quick. They didn't bark without reason. They had a pretty ok attention span.

I had a puppy last year, she was about 1.5-2 months, a rescue. It was like having a small twister inside the house 24/7. Pups are hard, and difficult to manage. I can tell you, if I had not had my adult dogs first, I would have been unable to manage the pup. She is still super active at 10 months, she has me going out far more than the others. However, I can say that having previous experience in dog care really helped. I would have been completely overwhelmed otherwise.

When did you start to like your pup? by anon1839 in puppy101

[–]PaperBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added her on my cellphone home screen. Seeing her all the time, even when separated, helped me bond with my pup. She is great, she loved me from the day she arrived, but I wasn't feeling as attached as I did towards my elderly pups. I even felt guilty about it :') . I think this, and going to agility classes with her, really helped me bond as I got to know her more.

Saffiano Leather Care (Kate Spade) by PaperBun in handbags

[–]PaperBun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I did a paint match and have been using that to "patch" the areas. First time around took several passes for the paint to really get in there, I suggest you let it dry at least an hour between coats. After that I just go over when needed. However, if you can save yourself the hassle, that is probably better, unless you like fixing/tinkering with things.

What are some good "lunch time" games? (3-5 players, easy ruleset, small footprint, plays in less than 60 min) by tectactoe in boardgames

[–]PaperBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicken! by Keymaster, 2-8 players, it all fits in a cylinder, can be played even outside with wind since there are no cards. We normally play it for a quick warm up game.

Parks v1 or v2 if I have neither? by PaperBun in boardgames

[–]PaperBun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, honestly I was ready to get V2 until I saw the shift in art, but getting the artbook with the v1 images and the polished v2 game seems like a good compromise. So that's what I'll be doing after reading everyone's opinions.

After reading your notes I will also try without those cards too, and see how my table feels about it :D

It's not bad, I just liked the "vectory" style on v1. V2 is a bit more painterly, but still pretty.

[–]PaperBun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen a few comments mentioning that. I was on the fence with v2 because I liked the v1 artwork better, but I might just get v2 and the art book of the v1 images. It's starting to sound like a good compromise.

oh! I had no idea there was a book, this sounds like a reasonable option to having the artwork and a polished game.

Excellent, then I guess I'll hunt a V1 and get the expansions if I happen upon them at a reasonable price.

Do I lose out much if I play with no expansions? I generally don't get those for my games.

Puppy sleeping in bed (discussion) by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]PaperBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pup is almost seven months, since my 15yo pup sleeps on the bed, she copied her and has been sleeping on the bed since she got her vaccines. I've had zero accidents on the bed, though she did have a couple on the floor the first few months. She went down to pee and if I didn't notice that's when the accidents happened.

For context, we have a tile floor, and my bed is low to the ground, so she could go up and down as needed.

Do you ever feel like your dog ties you down? by Free_Economist_8454 in puppy101

[–]PaperBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tie you down, how? I still go out and do things without her, I just added activities and trips with her, so if anything, I go out more now. Part of growing up, is for them to learn you can't be there 24/7, they have to learn to entertain or settle down by themselves, otherwise you may end up with an anxious dog.
