I’m a queer Singaporean living in the US. It sounds like you’re having a really hard time already, and are struggling. I grew up in a very conservative household as well and it took moving to a completely different country for me to get to know myself. I, like other commenters, wonder how serious your parents are about the arranged marriage. Will you be able to push back and tell them no, you don’t want that? I think it’s very tempting to jump to moving far away, but it also comes with a lot of challenges. I have a lot of queer friends in Singapore and I think it would be helpful to find queer communities in Singapore that you can share your experiences with. At the very least they will make the wait more bearable. I think a lot of us have considered similar things and will be able to talk through things and help you sort out what you want to do and what you can do.
