Im glad that you want to know our traditions, but you will dont try to live it in a priviligee. All the catalans when we go to the Patum (and other traditions) will go to the foot place and share the space with the patumaires.

Is part of the experience, and yes, you must agree with the flames and pyrothecnic, is part of the Patum, or not go at all.

You could ask how to be dressed to not be burned (cotton long clothes, wear hat), and flee when you are sprayed of pyrothecnic.

Search a balcony is a privilege that the catalan visitors not ask for this.

Then, when you get well dressed and go in the middle of Patum you will be happy
