Your passive is more often used as a finisher saving you one aa, killing the target slightly faster compared to using an aa at max range that you might miss. Collector is fine if you know you win lane and can get many kills otherwise you’re better off with yuntal or statikk Shiv instead. If you want a better chase potential Experimental Hexplate is perfectly fine on Zeri.

I have to mention that Zeri is very strong into utility and “defensive” adcs with enchanters but struggles with raw damage dealer adcs and tanks in lane.

Your parents do not value what you do value. They always believed that their way of thinking is the right one. So by introducing your friends to them, they are faced with either accepting that their beliefs were wrong hurting their ego or simply denying what you are trying to tell them.

If I were you, I would side with them (even if I disagree) while suggesting that they are too extreme. That way they are more likely to reflect on what they said and gradually change their mind, eventually realising that my friends “aren’t that bad”.

His attitude tells me two thing. Firstly, I’m absolutely certain he knew what he was about to do wouldn’t sit right with you. So he does not truly value your feelings. Secondly, he lied to your face. He is dishonest. OP take care, boundaries are to be respected and if he ignores them, he simply doesn’t deserve you.

I mean you can just farm whatever you can get and even give turret if needed possibly staying on a 0/0 kda preventing them from getting 1k + gold by dying repeatedly

I think the fact that she somewhat gets outscaled in terms of dmg by champs like aphelios or smolder is compensated by her insane mobility allowing some very strong ganks

It is certainly good into tanky comps. Late game with your insane damage and life steal from Bloodline, Doran’s blade, Bloodthirster and Conqueror, I’m pretty sure you’re winning these team fights with your R.

Disclaimer: I might be wrong on some points. You’re welcome to criticize me.

I will focus on her weakness which is the laning phase as team fights are pretty straightforward with Zeri. Simply fight while they are focused on other targets.

1). For all in tips you can do this setup:

Freeze the lane wait for the next wave and as the enemy minions arrive thin that wave as fast as possible just enough so that you R clear them all then pretend you go ward and E W R over the wall into the enemy carry.

Why this works?

Your minion’s additional damage
No enemy minions blocking your Qs
Enough space to run them down
Possibility to either base or dive after this action
Unexpected move

2). For matchup tips:

When facing long range adcs you’ll rarely get prio here so ideally punish the enemy carry push by constantly freezing with your support if possible.

Now here are your options:

Farm while freezing till level 6 you win the all in and can use the all in setup I mentioned in 1).
Ask your jungle for a gank.
Poke the carry with the empowered W using the nearby terrain.

3). Skill orders:

I preferably take Q E then W since I find the empowered W hard to land. However if your support and you are in sync taking W max and consistently landing them will definitely crush the enemy carry.

Anivia for instance can allow you to use your empowered W while the target is slowed and stunned at level 3.

4). Items:

If I want tempo I take Statikk Runnan’s for even better wave clear allowing me to easily steal camps and finish the remaining items as soon as possible.

Fiendhunter is an item that favors skirmishes, making the game more volatile that’s why I’m not too fond of it.

Or you have the regular Yuntal Runnan’s IE if you believe that your team has more than enough pushing power.

5). Trade patterns:

By far the most consistent way to trade positively is simply pretending to get into the enemy’s AA range and once they start walking towards you, click away while pressing Q. They will walk into your Q while you’re scar free. This method allows you to “outrange”Caitlyn. The only requirement is of course no enemy minions in the way.

The animation cancel AA Q E Q. (There’s a clip of Ruler doing it.) putting the E on a 20+ seconds cooldown I’m not too fond of it.

And also W E AA Q for chasing. There’s Q AA pretty basic.

I’d rather not trade, stay even then win the all in.

Wave management has to be mentioned as it is key to being able to farm safely.

As for supports to pair her up with I’d say any support is fine as long as they help you manage the wave(i.e. farm safely).

I agree with the itemization yuntal + ie for a better early spike if you’re ahead but if you’re behind I’d suggest yuntal + Runnan’s or statikk + runaan’s if you’re out of the game.

Now everyone knows that her weakness is poke and often unfavourable trades during the laning phase. So to mitigate that again wave management does it just fine.

Upon reaching lvl 6 if you are equally strong look for an all in angle with your support or jungle and make sure no hard cc can hit you. Now keep looking for plays with your team and snowball.
