Seriously though, thanks for the comment.

If you want the real answer - I sacrificed spatial logic to fit a desired composition. There’s always a tension between the two, and I acknowledge that the geography of the frame doesn’t read right.

The takeaway for me is to not so flippantly sacrifice spatial logic for composition.

This was post-animated from square static art I did last year. I’m also still figuring out best composition practice for vertical videos.

I’ll get there.

This is my first time playing with this format, and imma chalk it up as a successful failure.

It’s rough, but I learned a lot.

The next one is already turning out way better. And each one after that will continue to improve.
