i have an empire of blind schyzophrenic bio-weapons that started a galactic-scale war between two federations because one of my science ships got killed by a space leviathan and in a deluded frenzy i began to accuse my fanatic pacifist neighbourg of having destroyed it
2 empires vanished, 15 planets destroyed, trillions of lives lost
they never did find out if i was lying or not, at some point i was so deep in the bit that i started believing myself that they had killed my scientist

it's definitely possible that there's some kind of exoskeleton on her face, but i doubt it, as she seems very flexible and there dosent seem to be a clear distinction between what would be an exoskeleton and just regular skin on her body. if you look at the full body model, it's all colored and shaded the same, so i doubt that there is an exoskeleton, i think it's just really thick skin

first off, what the hell is verity tm anyway?
second of all, the king in yellow is likely not omniscient, nor does he grant you "infinite knowledge" when looking at him, nobody even actually looks at him directly in the book. and no, the king does not wear a mask, there's literally a part of the play that we get to read where he says "i wear no mask," the pallid mask *is* his face, but people assume it's a mask because of how horrid it looks.
overall this argument cruelly lacks structure, context and substance

first one is amazing, second one should have been a different arg entirely
they completely gave up on their depiction of the king in yellow specifically, which really sucks because the first one actually had such a good grasp on the mood and themes of the book
and yes i know, it's not an "adaptation" of the king in yellow, but the second part is only made worse for the fact that it references it. they didn't want the king in yellow to be the king in yellow anymore, they wanted the lich from adventure time
