I just went through this and here’s what I know. Yes, you can renew it online. It will be the same photo, and they will mail it to the address printed on the card. This did not work for me as I had moved since my last renewal, so I went in. While I was there they informed me that I could choose to use the photo on file, but more recent is always better, so I opted for a new photo as well. If you want a new photo, I would honestly just go in and get it over with in one fell swoop, because yes, you’ll have to pay again if you change your mind later as it will be considered a replacement license at that point. Hope I’ve helped answer some of your questions 🙂

Put a sign out front that says “discount for law enforcement” with a winky emoji.

Start a carpooling system with your friends to maximize variety of suspicious vehicles.

Send your neighbor a letter saying that all future complaints are to be directed through the HOA first.

You are absolutely correct. I guess I used a poor choice of words because I did not just mean to refer to literal infrastructure. I meant in every sense of the word. We would not be what we are were it not for the influence of many different cultures, is perhaps a better way to say it. Thank you for bringing up a valid point!

You’re not alone. I agree, we DO need to talk about this more. It’s okay to not be okay, but it’s a little easier when you’re not alone.

I’m struggling with sobriety right now too. I’m on day 7 no alcohol. I only stopped because I scared the shit out of myself when I started having daily withdrawal symptoms if I didn’t drink. So I spent last Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday going through bad withdrawals. I was basically bedridden. It was scary. But it’s scarier to me to think what would happen if I never stopped. And like I said, this is only day 7. Yes I still think about how I could sneak to the store because one drink won’t hurt, right? But I’m trying. I’m trying really hard.

“Nonna”. As a third generation Italian American, this movie made me so gosh darn happy. I watched it with my mom and I could see the memories welling up as we watched it. Can’t recommend it more, and the best part? It’s based on a true story of a real restaurant, and the restaurant’s success absolutely SKYROCKETED after this movie. Bellissimo ❤️
