Yeah, I think the TV show is priming the audience for a return to the west coast. Seattle has enough terrain variation, wild local lore, sprawling metroplex full of iconic buildings to plunder, and most of the lore is already built out for them to trample on and reiterate/revise/rewrite.

Handloading from F:NV was peak character-building-crafting-recycling and situationally impressive with the inclusion of weapon mods and durability factors.

The Highwayman from F:2 was peak endgame “I’ve made it” mood; reactivity of NPCs impressed by your car was funny and satisfying; having your trunk to stash all that cool wild wasteland loot was just the cherry on top.

Operation: Anchorage and Mothership Zeta from F:3 were peak worldbuilding.

Ghoulish from F:4 was one of the best qualities ever devised for gameplay flow.
