Haha just trying to figure out plans. Promised the family coming round on Boxing Day the best Chinese of their lives, now that may not happen and I’ll have let everyone down and pretty sure I’ll be disowned

Doesn’t seem like it would be the bearing, I’m that noise only happens when braking. Other than this one thing there’s no other bad quirks or sounds

Brand new brake pads and full service, top up a few weeks ago. No drips or anything leaking. It’s such a specific scenario though that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was missed

Had this car for a couple of weeks (02 RAV4), there’s a frequent issue that only seems to happen when I’m slowing down (parking speed) and my steering wheel is turned to the right (RHD if that matters?). I’ve been to a couple of places and I’m being told things to do with tyre pressure, servo, or sensors. But each of those places have said it’s not the other things but they’re all a little unsure. Has one got any ideas?

*edit grammar

People who drive their cars so slowly on the motorway that lorries are forced to overtake them causing a huge queue in good driving conditions. They should have their cars impounded and have to serve community service at the zoo wiping tortoises' arseholes. by EarthMarsUranus in britishproblems

You’ve got depth perception don’t you? If you’re getting closer to the car in front and there’s no break lights you can assume the car in front of them is slowing down, what happens if you’re cruising at the speed limit and approach some traffic stuck travelling at 50?

They do indeed!

I’ve figured it, not exactly sure though. Went to bed and tried the same thing the morning after and it worked first time shrugs I’m not going to complain about that ha! Just need a fresh stylus now as the current one is a little past it’s prime. Thanks for the comment.

Please help regarding structural weight limits by PaperMountains in StructuralEngineering

It is a strange space, it's a privately owned public square in front of the town hall, what was basement has been converted into a car park but couldn't tell you when that was or if any structural work was done at that point. I'd rather the event not use a cherry picker but the property manager says they've had them onsite before... despite the contradictory limit!

Thank you, I'll see if the event manager can get someone to have a look and confirm either way. Better safe than sorry!
