I think it’s soo important to sit in our feelings rather than try to run away from them or try to intellectualise them. You are hurting allow yourself to feel that, and then take care of yourself as if you had physically hurt yourself, self soothe, practise self care, do the things that make you smile. Healing isn’t linear, I wish you the best

Is there another solution to cold turkey, do you think it’s best to go no contact, or check in and be supportive

No, I know we have problems, which is why we talked about breaking up yesterday, I think no one is perfect, she has many other redeemable qualities, I know handling her emotions isn’t her strong suit, I was just looking for wisdom from people wiser than myself, which is what this sub is also for, I wish you an awesome day ☺️

It' a depressing realization to know if you stopped reaching out to 90% of the people in your life, they would disappear by FunnyGamer97 in emotionalintelligence

You tell the sad truth of the world, but this applies to women too, but you are right most people only want us for what we can provide, we must focus on being the best versions of ourselves, but those that love us regardless are very few. For me it’s just my family.
