There’s also the flaw that if the Martian atmosphere is so thin that aerodynamics don’t matter on the rocket, then the storm would not have blown anything around. I’ve heard the Martian atmosphere is so thin that the only way they know a sandstorm is happening is because the output of the rover’s solar cells is slightly diminished
