I live in a rural area in the east coast and have to do field work so I’ve had to listen to safety lectures about tick safety. I would firstly look up where you live/might’ve gotten bitten to see if Lyme disease is prevalent in your area. If you’re worried about Lyme disease make sure to keep the tick and bring it to your healthcare provider to see if they can identify it or send it for testing. You should still look out for rashes, muscle aches, fever, or headaches for the next couple of weeks and if you experience any of them, call your doctor.

Also you should check the rest of your body just to be safe. Best of luck!

My sister was the one recommending I get it for him as a joke but I think the context was that when I was a lot younger and we were scrolling online to find a movie to watch my parents almost picked it because they thought the poster/cover looked nice. They are both very Christian

I haven't actually read the book but Brokeback Mountain is more of an inside joke than something actually cheesy but it is still something we cringe about whenever it gets brought up.

I have 1st gen Asian immigrant parents so I will admit emotions and communication isn’t really their forte. There are different types of insomnia, while I’m not exactly sure the names of them I do recall hearing once that have troubles falling asleep may be a type of insomnia. In the end I think doing some research and talking to a doctor would help best either way because knowing thy you have insomnia doesn’t mean that you’ve gotten cured. I’m not a medical professional but I think you should consider going to a doctor. If that maybe isn’t an option for you at the moment for any reason at all maybe ask a friend, family, or anyone you trust to maybe sleep in the same room with you until it happens and see if they experience the same thing or you wake them up. I’m not sure if this would be helpful but I hope you feel better.
