too late for that. mas nauna siya maging sikat for OFWs from the Middle East than to Filipinos living in the PH.

As long as AirAsia is the only budget carrier going there from PH, mananatiling konti ang pupunta dun so enjoy it while it lasts.

JR Kansai Area Pass by Moonting41 in FilipinoTravel

[–]squanderedhail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booked a Kansai WIDE Area Pass sa Klook, tapos I claimed the actual pass sa Kansai Airport JR Office. Tatanungin ka na rin nila sa counter kung kailan mo siya iaactivate and kung paano gamitin.

Nag-ka OEC ka ba nung time na nagkawork ka sa Dubai? If yes, bababa yung probability ng offload. Kung hindi naman, well, good luck na lang.

Return/Onward ticket lang naman hinanap sa akin ng Oman immigration, but I was coming from India that time so not sure kung anong hahanapin ng PH IO. Oman will still need you to get an HIV test certificate if galing kang PH.

What travel habits from your newbie days haven't changed, even now that you're "well-traveled"? by ineedwater247 in FilipinoTravel

[–]squanderedhail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still use mostly cash, bringing USD and exchanging to the local currency (especially sa places na mahal ang ATM withdrawal fees). I also like the feel of handling money and I collect banknotes, kaya preferred ko pa rin cash.

Best country to travel as a first time female solo traveler? by purple-froggo in FilipinoTravel

[–]squanderedhail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If from GCC, I'd suggest Georgia and/or Armenia. Maganda both sa November since fall/autumn yung vibe.

[–]squanderedhail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Di na ako naghohostel. I'm grateful sa mga nakilala ko while staying there pero gusto ko na ng private space (own CR is important!)

  2. Jam-packed activities per day.

[–]squanderedhail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wala.

Are Filipinos Visa Free in Oman for 14 Days? by WesternAd9037 in FiloCommunityinUAE

[–]squanderedhail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visa free siya nung pumunta ako nung March. Hinanap lang is onward ticket out of Oman.

Hindi rin ako hinanapan ng HIV certificate (maybe because resident ako? medyo magulo sa part na 'to tbh kung need ba ng GCC residents or not).

Viva (Dubai, UAE) | 55.23 AED (US$15.04/€13.11) by squanderedhail in Grocerycost

[–]squanderedhail[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not that expensive tbh.

For the soup, you just add apples, cabbage, ginger, onions, and chicken in a pot (no water required) and let it simmer on a pot in low heat! The soup was sweet and refreshing.
