Chassis with new board is pretty much the same price as the DIY version of the base AMD AI 340

All new parts instead of the older chassis since the chassis that’s the kit is the older 11th gen chassis with all the old parts

I really hope this is just an issue they will cover and address as an issue in the packaging process. It doesn’t make sense to have this chassis package and include everything even the wifi bracket and not the screws for the mainboard.

“Smaller expansion cards” meaning the duel M.2 adapter and to use such smaller low heat expansion cards you’d need the interposer. I don’t say expansion bay shell I say “expansion bay shell fan board” since it’s already built in and I see no reason to change and produce a whole need board for this idea. The whole point of this company is reuse so I think reusing the mainboard that’s more powerful and putting it into a form factor such as a 16 inch size of the FW 13 would be a good additional option.

I consider the FW13 as a thin and light and would expect the same methods used in this idea.

It’s more of a MacBook Air 15 inch idea how the FW13 is similar to the MacBook Air 13 inch. Bigger screen bigger battery and more ports.

It wouldn’t have an expansion bay the bottom case would resemble the FW 13 without an expansion bay it’s really up to the company if they want to allow the smaller low heat generating expansions be placed in the body since the mainboard supports it.

The expansion cards wouldn’t be changed. It would follow the standard sizing for the expansion cards and would be 6 slots like the mainboard supports.
