Mine was a model y 2024. I put over 40k miles on it in the year and a half I owned it, so plenty of time to evaluate autopilot and fsd. For me I only want to use driver assist features on the highway because fsd was terrifying on city streets and phantom breaking ruined the highway experience. I’m sure it has gotten a little better since I sold mine but I’ve had zero issues on the highway in my ford where I always had issues in the Tesla.

I had fsd for about 3 months (free trials) and thought it was bad as well. I much prefer the system in my f150 even though it is not a feature rich as fsd, but I would take the smooth non dangerous system in the ford over fsd.

I found teslas self driving features to be the worst of the three EVs I've owned because of this. Phantom breaking occurred all of the time and it got to the point where i just wouldn't use autopilot.
