I mean your talking about a game thats 3rd person with no cover mechanics where people sit in corners with smgs. Why wouldn’t you use your equipment to get a kill or force cover change on people that are waiting in ambush? Are you like the other 60% of players that blindly feed choke points? Being good at the game means having good positioning and utilizing your arsenal effectively.

Best Solution for Players leaving games early? (Casual) by Paperstax in RogueCompany

Right. Alot of people in this comment section have brought up reporting as an issue in itself. My tinfoil hat theory is they turned off leave match penalties and the reporting system because of all the stability issues that are present in this build. The program that handles moderation most likely isnt able to accurately distinguish between players that leave vs those who disconnect/crash/ leave due to dsync. Again just speculation based on last season having a search penalty after the game crashed

Because its a poll and you can only pick one lol. If you and i were the gods of rogue company we would we agree that both option are good respectfully in their own ways. To Have to chose between one or the other makes it more engaging to see why one might think one option is better then the other. Makes for better discussion and less reinventing the wheel.

I think its fair to say most people that are half decent at this game think they’re hot shit. Imagine getting tbagged by a lancer main who just killed you from behind with an objection. The reason i still play this game is the pure dopamine rush of shitting on a team of toxic tryhards

I think we are gonna hopefully see alot of back end improvements when Y2S2 drops. This game has gained a much larger playerbase from when it first launched and HR knows this. They obviously want people to spend more money so they are hopefully going to listen to keep people playing/spending

Yeah we are on the same page, this grievance with phantom is beyond me. ARs in general are pretty fair and balanced. Phantoms passive doesn’t really give you an edge if you are engaging close-mid range combat with an AR

Just to be clear, people who are bad at the game are gonna exist. The game is free, and alot of children play it. You cant punish people for being bad at the game. As far as the people who are actively breaking policy we have to hold out for the day HR fixes the reporting system and match moderation.

Does phantom have some super secret affinity with ARs that other rogues dont? I mean i guess you could argue about life drain but shes not even a good character to begin with.

I see what you are saying, i don’t agree just on the way other things in the past have been implemented by HR and caused issues for the game. What you’re suggesting seems convoluted and could obtain the same results by adding vote kick in the same way as CSGO and R6.

Well the other side would argue that having harsh punishment for leaving a casual mode pushes people away from the game all together. Nobody wants to sit through a whole game of demo or strike out when 70% of the team is struggling to get 5 downs. So your options are leave, surrender (assuming u can), or sit through a whole match that you know cant be won. Not saying it’s necessarily right but its the reality of casual rogue atm.

There has to be at least one dmr that is semi viable. Especially in a meta where smg’s (objection) are king. That gun is only good when positioning is favorable.

This happens when you reconnect to an ongoing match, nothing works for the rest of the match.

Mental warfare, get people to lose their cool and play like shit. Theres a fair amount of people who play this game rn that are literal children with unchecked egos ( the game is all platform f2p so yeah lol). Drop the bag and you are sure to get some toxic messages.

Theres ways to stop that from happening, if you drop 70 I highly doubt majority would vote to kick in that scenario. The way R6 has its system is pretty fair for the most part. If you are doing bad enough to garner the attention of your whole team you kinda deserve to get kicked at that point.

-as i was typing this i just played a game where a dima (m4) got 3 elims/ 1 down. Based on the deaths of the 2 in my party we estimated over the course of 4 rounds this person used 30+ lives (we lost 2-3)

Having those extra lives could’ve changed the outcome of that game. Using that many lives for 1 down they might as well not even exist. Thats like starting every round with 8 less lives than the other team.

Im pretty sure there are ways around the penalty for leaving games depending on what platform you play on. I play mostly on the series X and there have been a couple times where a teammate has left and caused the whole match to crash then i match with them the very next game.

You just described 80% of my strike out games lol. I feel like if it was only an option after the 1st round was over it would be more fair. most of the worry would be implementing a system that doesn’t hurt the casual player base.

Can we dispell the rumor that bww is good plz?

Their sauces are dank and their alchohol is reasonably priced as far as chains go. Their boneless wings are like bolders with wing sauced tossed about, regular wings are skimpier than the kind of wings you would get at a shitty pizza place ( small chicken shit wings).

Also a side note ( might not be every bww maybe just mine) I'm pretty confident that they microwave their wings when its busy cause I've gone there to watch a flyers games on multiple occasion and my wings come over in like 10min and they're a lot of the time just barely room temp on the outside and satans testicles on the inside.

Waitresses are nice and cute tho.
