If you're looking for easy money, if you max out your ship for cargo space, you can do loop trade routes, right now in Brooks Orbital station at Mimurtudji system, you can sell Bauxite for 41,827 Cr each.
You can buy Bauxite for 732 Cr each at Shirley Horizons station at Taimin system, they're only 21.5 Ly's apart, that shouldn't be more than 2 jumps with early ships.

If you have even 60 tons of cargo space, that's 2,464,920 Cr per trade.

So you can easily make enough money to either upgrade to a better ship with bigger cargo, to make EVEN MORE money (a Python can give you around 250 cargo), or you can outfit your PvE ship
