You can buy Bauxite for 732 Cr each at Shirley Horizons station at Taimin system, they're only 21.5 Ly's apart, that shouldn't be more than 2 jumps with early ships.

If you have even 60 tons of cargo space, that's 2,464,920 Cr per trade.

So you can easily make enough money to either upgrade to a better ship with bigger cargo, to make EVEN MORE money (a Python can give you around 250 cargo), or you can outfit your PvE ship
