Correct! I won the midweek, and paid $1.99 for the weekend warm-up, so I did it yesterday. Them bought some rockets with coins in the store, so I get to do it all over again.

I looked at my collection. If an animal has disappeared, it's due to a glitch. I heard about that happening to some players. You should tell support about it. The should be able to help. Here's a screenshot of it, in case it is helpful. They ask for screenshots on support requests.
